The SoundPost Community Engagement program initiates projects for our student members to gain hands-on experiences through involvement in collaborative activities. Our young members will learn to appreciate resources given by others, value them, be more caring and considerate, and be willing to take action and to give back in a positive manner. The youth leadership team meets regularly to develop and lead the projects to accomplish their goals.
Many of our members are high school students who are talented at music. The youth chamber orchestra is organized on a project basis to utilize these talents and to perform for charitable functions or community events such as benefit concerts.
